The Anglican Parish of the Good Shepherd
You are invited to join the members of the Parish of the Good Shepherd in Mount Pearl in their fourth annual Lenten Quiet Day as they explore the reasons we sometimes struggle to believe in God. In a series of 4 talks, Father Geoff Peddle will explore the relationship between faith and doubt and show that doubt, much rather than being the opposite of faith, is the true balance to faith. He will ask what constitutes a healthy faith and show that a healthy faith always embraces doubt.

Father Geoff’s talks will be presented as a series of reflections and stories that will be often humorous, frequently personal, and always challenging. A significant use of music will enhance the message and there will be times for quiet prayer and reflection between his talks. Beginning with coffee at 10:00am, the day will end by 3:00pm.
